  Wow, I took my beat up old 1998 Ford Ranger to this company as my wife had her vehicle serviced there recently with pleasant results. I dropped it off with instructions to check out the clutch as I thought it was going bad (loss of pressure on the pedal and hard to shift) and I had a vibration I was feeling in what I thought was the front left tire. I got a call back from the owner a little later and he told me that my truck indeed needed a clutch and the wheel bearings or something were so bad the wheel might fall off under adverse conditions. He also said something about the U joint, said the brakes were bad, AC had no charge, and basically that the truck was dangerous to drive and repairs would be upwards of several thousand dollars to "make it safe". He said he didn't think my truck was worth the repairs and his recommendation was to take it off the road. He didn't charge me anything - who does this nowadays? Rest assured, there is an honest auto repair shop in Lexington that charges reasonable fees (based on my wife's experience there).
